Dementia is a defining disease in the 21st century, tiggering a decline in cognitive abilities, behavior and psychological well being. Dementia is a known consequence of Alzheimer's disease, but it is less known that other diseases can also trigger it. Among them, tauopathies and frontotemporal dementia are guilty of triggering this disease.
In order to properly assess the efficacy of therapies, we phenotyped a model of tauopathy to see the impact of misfolded tau accumulation on the EEG spectra.
We look forward to discussing with you there !
